Summary

We experienced slow platform performance, including unresponsive pages, blank screens and difficulties logging in.

Impact

A recent platform update introduced a configuration change that unexpectedly caused additional load on a core system component, leading to degraded performance.

Resolution

Our engineering team investigated the issue once identified, they reduced the load from the updated component by adjusting its operational capacity. This restored normal platform performance.

Prevention Measures

  • The adjusted configuration has been locked in to maintain platform stability.
  • We are implementing architectural improvements to the underlying process that caused the bottleneck. These changes will eliminate the source of contention and allow the platform to handle this workload more efficiently going forward.
